First Pitch will organize
the first Manipur State tournament from April 11-3, 2008.
The First Muriel Peters Trophy will be awarded. The
tournament will be organized by First Pitch in conjunction
with Hun-tre, its local affiliate, and MABA.. |

First Pitch brought MLBI
coaches to Manipur for the second coaching camp from Nov 2
- 12, 2007. Envoy Coaches Jeff Brueggemann and Dave
Palese returned to gauge this progress made since their first
coaching camp in 2006. They gave intensive training to 15
MLBI coaches.

Eight acres were allotted
by the state government for India's first ballpark in Lamphelpat,
Imphal. The ballpark complex will be built forthe Department
of Youth Affiars and Sports by First Pitch.. NANDINEE
PHOOKAN, architect from NYC visited Manipur with the FIRST
PITCH team to draw up intial plans.
